Since 19.11.2022, Freiburg Minster has been revealing previously hidden details to the public. Together with the Münsterbauverein Freiburg e.V. and the Städtische Museen Freiburg, dotscene invites you on an exciting journey. As part of the exhibition LICHT.PUNKT.MÜNSTER, large-format art prints from the mobile laser scans of Freiburg Minster created in 2019 and 2020 were shown. The prints from the 3D scan data allow a view through the building, a kind of X-ray view: This makes tower chambers visible, cross-sections through vaults possible and new contexts can be experienced in a fascinating way.
The exhibition was on display in the Augustinermuseum's sculpture hall until December 18, 2022.
The presentation in the Augustinermuseum marked the start of the sale of these special cathedral art prints, which are intended to provide financial support for the preservation of Freiburg Cathedral: The cathedral prints are now available online at: www.art.dotscene.com
