A trip to Andalusia

Today we would like to take you on a trip to Andalusia, more precisely to Montefrío. According to National Geographic, one of the 10 places with the most beautiful views in the world. dotscene España had the opportunity to visit the impressive Iglesia de la Villa with the dotcube.

The church was built in 1507 on a rocky outcrop that rises high above the picturesque village of Montefrío in the province of Granada. It is enthroned on the remains of a former fortress of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada. Between 1540 and 1542, the building was extended under the direction of Diego de Siloé. Thanks to our dotscene España team, the Iglesia de la Villa was fully scanned in 2023. The resulting renderings of the point clouds are absolutely fascinating.
